BurnFree Features, Ingredients:
• BurnFree is a highly viscous gel that effectively stays on a burn injury rather than running off the wound as water would. It is easily absorbed into the matrix of the open-cell foam used in the sterile dressings, to cool the injury effectively.
• BurnFree is 95% water based and is 100% water soluble, which means it rinses off completely from a burn injury for any further examination or treatment.
• BurnFree contains no drugs. It is classified as a Medical Device by the U.s. FDA and by the European Community. It also carries the "CE" mark as required in Europe.
• BurnFree dressings are also approved for "Wound Care". It is the only burn product on the market to have such dual approval.
• Burn free carries trace amounts of a natural extract called Melaleuca Alternifolia, or Tea Tree Oil. This extract is considered in many countries to have natural anti-germicidal features, which help to prevent infection and promote healing.
• BurnFree contains anti-evaporative, thickening and preservative agents to mantain the gel's viscosity and efficacy.
• BurnFree Dressings are sterile and utilize a foam pad that holds the gel and keeps it in place at the wound site.
Expiration Dating:
• All BurnFree products have expiration dates to insure product quality and efficacy. Some of the products are required to have dates printed on them under CE regulations, while others don't require them to be printed. As a general rule, products that carry a date will exhibit that date on the package, while products without a date stamped carry a 5-year expiration.
Cooling, Pain Relief, Removal, and Drug Reactions:
• BurnFree Dressings use BurnFree gel impregnated in a carrier, which when applied, is easily removed at the medical facility with plain water.

Specifiche e composizione Gel BurnFree:
• BurnFree è un gel altamente viscoso che permane sul punto di bruciatura anzichè attraversarlo velocemente come
farebbe l'acqua. Il composto viene facilmente assorbito dalla matrice a cellule operte utilizzata nelle coperture sterili, al fine di raffreddare la lesione con grande efficacia.
• BurnFree è costituito da 95% di acqua oltre ad essere idrosolubile al 100%. Questo significa che il prodotto è completamente per ogni ulteriore trattamento o esame.
• Burnfree non contiene medicinali. Il prodotto è classificato come presidio medico dalla FDA negli Stati Uniti e
dalla comunità europea. Il prodotto è marchiato CE come richiesto dalle normative europee.
• BurnFree contiene piccole quantità dell'estratto naturale chiamato Melaleuca Alternifolia, o olio della pianta del tè. Questo estratto è considerato in molti paesi come un germicida naturale, che aiuta a prevenire fenomeni di infezione e a favorire la guarigione.
• BurnFree contiene agenti protettivi ed anti-evaporanti per mantenere la viscosità ed efficacia del gel.

Tutti i prodotti BurnFree sono forniti con date di scadenza per assicurare la qualità del prodotto e l'efficacia.
Ad alcuni prodotti è richiesta la presenza di date di scadenza per contemplare alle norme CE, altri enti non prevedono simili disposizioni.
Come norma generale i prodotti che hanno stampata una data di scadenza la riportano sulla confezione, gli altri
prodotti privi di indicazioni specifiche hanno una durata di 5 anni.
Raffreddamento, sollievo dal dolore, rimozione e reazioni ai medicinali:
• BurnFree non utilizza alcuna medicina anestetica nella sua formulazione, come ad esempio la lidocaina, che potrebbe causare reazioni allergiche o essere proibita da molte disposizioni legislative locali.
